Double Storey Extension, Thurcaston

This project was to construct a double storey extension to the rear of a semi-detached property in Thurcaston, Leicestershire.

This gable extension was built using block and timber cavity construction with cavity insulation. Externally, the extension has been finished in render.

The new gable roof of the extension has been tiled and insulated with foam board. The new roof also boasts three Velux roof windows to allow for plenty of natural light.

In addition to the roof windows, Stotto has also installed new windows, French Doors and a balcony.

The property has also benefitted from various electrical installations and renovations, including the installation of numerous power sockets and lighting, located as per the customer’s requirements.

A new boiler has also been installed as part of the works on this property, in addition to the installation of new radiators.
