This project was right up Stotto’s street. A single storey extension with whole house renovation and new driveway.

For this project, Stotto took on the responsibility of sourcing all planning work and structural calculations, and organising all correspondence with Building Control to make life easier for the customer.

Prior to work commencing, a wooden garden structure and pond were removed, along with a bush and a tree.

The single storey extension is of brick cavity construction with cavity insulation and finished in facing brick. The flat roof material is rubber and is insulated with foam board roof insulation. Set in the roof is a sky-light by Roof Maker to provide natural light to the extension.

This property benefitted from electrical renovations and installations, including a new Consumer Unit, lighting and power sockets across the property. A new boiler was supplied and fitted and new radiators installed.

A brand new Howdens kitchen was supplied and installed for this extension, along with Oak Vinyl Flooring and decorated throughout. Upstairs was also re-decorated.

New bespoke sash windows were installed along with a Bi-Fold door providing access to the garden from the rear extension and a new composite front door providing access to the new driveway at the front. Both upstairs and downstairs benefitted from new oak internal doors, either solid or glazed.

The rear of the property was landscaped and smart sand stone slabs and new turf were supplied and laid.
